Japan: Man Arrested After Setting Fire at Iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing

A man in his 50s scattered a flammable liquid and set it on fire at the iconic Shibuya Scramble Crossing on Friday, April 3. He turned himself in at a nearby police station about 20 minutes later, and was arrested on suspicion of obstructing traffic. The fire was put out by police officers and no one was hurt.

Anxiety grips Ukrainian residents in Japan after Russian invasion

Ukrainian nationals living in Japan have spoken of their anxiety following Russia's invasion of their country, including concern about family members and friends back home struggling through fear and sleepless nights.
